STRaight: Intelligent process management
Consolidation of clinical chemistry and immunochemistry testing into one system requires intelligent sample transportion and processing to ensure optimal turn-around-time. The new Smart-Track-Rotor (STRaight) enables optimal distribution of sample racks to analytical modules, acts as a re-run buffer and supports immediate reflexive testing:
- STAT samples are processed within 60 seconds upon entry
- Sample racks are routed instantly to the appropriate analytical unit for re-run or reflexive testing
- Controls remain onboard for cyclic, automatic and initial quality controls after calibration or reagent exchange during operation
